The charged body is brought near to the uncharged body without touching together. The charge is induced on the uncharged body in this process.
In the given problem, a positive point charge is placed outside the neutral conducting sphere. Then the negative charge will induce on the outer surface of sphere. The negative charge will accumulate on the surface of the sphere. But the net charge on the sphere is zero. It is electrically neutral.
