Stack Temperature Control System monitors exhaust gas temperatures at the baghouse inlet as the primary reference for control. As the exhaust gas temperature changes the control system checks it against a set-point.

The top Temperature of the exhaust gasses in Stack tower has to be above dew point temperature as otherwise condensates will form and there can crowding or flooding in the long tower. Usually an induced draft fan is used just few meters before the stack tower and by controlling the R.P.M of fan which in turns controll the flowrate, presurre drop and temperature of exhaust gasses in the tower.
