See for hemisperical surface there are two surfaces out of which one is flat {circular} and other is curved. The flux linked with curved surface is πR^2E.For circular surface it is -2πR^2E.I have applied the formula flux= Edscos(theta). The total flux is zero from if we sum the flux of individual surface. U can use the relationship flux(curved)+flux(circular)=0. U will get it.Hoping that it will help u. Regards ROHIT.
