Here from the que we can easily identify that the secong particle wwill have more energy as compared to first particle.
So here the equilibrium distance b/w two charges is "a"
So when the second particle will be released, sooner it will maintain the distance of "a" (their equilibrium distance) with the first released particle.
So in que it is given that the balls are very much far apart from tge polygon, so if we consider the two ball system at infinity:
Interaction energy of balls = Difference in their kinetic energy
So , kq^2/a=K
The final result will be: q = ✓4πE•aK
