Fact: the distance between ends of a fixed string is one half-wavelength. Hence, the relation is
 
\lambda_n=\frac{2l}{n} \\l=(\frac{\lambda_n}{2})n
Consider above fact that length is half of lambda n. Hence,(\frac{\lambda_n}{2}) = 18 and 16 for second equation.
So for equation (1) ,  l = 18n,
 
Second equation, For consective nodes (or n+1)
l = 16(n+1)
