Find the work done in bringing a charge +q from infinity to a distance "a" from a charge +Q (using integration)? I tried it but the sign of my work was +ve which is incorrect (it should be -ve), can someone find what i did wrong ?

Dear student
You have done mistakes in taking the imit of integration.
It will be from a to infinity,
which will give you extra negative sign in your result.
If you are taking it from infinity to a then add extra negative sign.

Why would the limit be from a to infinity.
We are bringing +q from infinity to a.
So r vector initial is infinity and r vector final is a.
