Electric field due to the wire present on the left at a distanceais\dfrac{\lambda_1}{2\pi\epsilon_0 a}.

The same electric field is present across the whole of the wire of charge\lambda_2 L
Hence the net force on the wire = qE=(\lambda_2L)(\dfrac{\lambda_1}{2\pi\epsilon_0a})=\dfrac{\lambda_1\lambda_2L}{2\pi\epsilon_0a}
