Figure shows a solid hemisphere with a charge of 5nC distributed uniformly through its volume. The hemisphere lies on a plane and point P is located on the plane, along a radial line from the centre of curvature at distance 15 cm. What is the electric potential at point P due to the hemisphere.

Assume a solid sphere having charge 10nC so potential at p =kq/r (q=10nC )and point p is symmetrical to upper and lower hemisphere , therefore Vp due to solid hemisphere sphere = kq/2r
