Compare the Energy stored in two Capacitors of identical geometry – one capacitor ‘X’ completely filled with material of dielectric constant = 6, and other capacitor ‘Y’ filled with air, when both capacitors are connected in Series.

Dear Monosij,
the value of capacitance and the potential difference applied is not given in question so i am assuming it as C and V .. 
the capacitance of capacitor x and y is 6C and C
Effective capacitance of capacitor = 6C/7
Energy stored in capacitor = ½. C.V2  =  3C/7V2
