here you just have to do opposite of resistance

for example- in parallel in resistance you just add the it by taking reciprocal of each and in series you directly add the values of resistance

and in capacitance in parallel you just have to add the values of capacitance directly as we did in series combination of resistance and in series you have to add the value of capacitance by taking its reciprocal as we did in series combination of resistance

all we have to do is that we just have to interchange the concepts that we used in resistance with capacitance
