Identical charges 'Q' are placed at the vertices of an n-sided regular polygon with side 'a' and distance from vertex to any side 'r'. A charge 'q' is placed at the centre of the polygon and if the system is at equilibrium, find the value of 'q' in terms of 'Q'.

The force due to two charges is :

kqQ/r² along the direction of two charges.

Thus by calculating  vector equivalents in two common directions we can evalute the answer.
