Dear ankit,

the principal features of the structure of a non-separating laminar boundary layer near a sharp corner, deflecting the exterior inviscid flow through a small angle α*, depends on the solution of the conventional boundary-layer equations but with novel boundary conditions. Further these conditions take on one of two forms depending only on whether the exterior flow is supersonic or subsonic and the effects of the boundary layer upstream of the corner and of the wall temperature are purely scaling.

We are all IITians and here to help you in your IIT JEE preparation.

All the best.
