Approved Tutor Answer8 Years agoIn transformer there is also a power factor , as power is nothing but the product of current and voltage , so the current required to carry the power decreases when the voltage increases , there is no violation of ohm`s law , because it states that the voltage across the the conductor is proportional to the current flowing through it
