The Hall Effect is the production of Voltage Difference across an electric conductor transverse(diagnally) to the electric current in the conductor and a magnetic field perendicular to the Electri current .It was discovered by Edwin Hall in 1879.
The Hall Effect is relevent to a variety of Sensor applications, the simple relationship between current ,voltage and magnetic field can be used to measure speed, position and magnetic strength.
