see in this case uppermost two resistances are in series, so they ‘ll add up to give 8 ohms then this 8 ohm is parallel to 4ohm(base of the triangle). then the triangle will finally result into R  = 8/3 ohm. in turn this in series with two 4ohms resistance hence Requiv = 4*2 + 8/3 = 32/3 ohms

and again it will parallel with 4 ohm
again it will be in series with 4 and 4 ohm.
Total R = 8+32/12 = 32/3ohm
