Power dissipated in an LCR series circuit connected to an ac source of emf is  E2R/[R2+(Lw-1/Cw)2] … please prove

Power dissipated in an AC circuit cannot be calculated through this relation

Because of the fact that this is not the current nor the emf for 1 second. Both current and emf changes too much within one second.
Hence ofr calculating power we need to find the root mean square value for both the current and voltage..
Proof of calculation of Irns& Vrmsis given beautifully in 12thNCERT Physics book
