Hi student,
Now come to very basic concept about the induced emf due to rotation of a rod(rotation on the fixed axis) of length ‘l’ with angular velocity ‘w’, i.e. given by Bl2w /2, we used to called it potential difference between contre of rotation and peripheral point.
In the same context, Thr relative velocity of rotation of the top point ‘A’ is 2V of point of contact ‘B’.
This mean, we are in need to find the potential difference between peripheral and point of contact, which is having length to be ‘2R’.
Now put the value and find the answer...
