Aan electron in, in a hydrogen atom, in its ground state absorbs 1.5 times as much energy as the minimum required for its escape (i.e., 13.6ev) from the atom. calculate the value of Lamda for the emitted electron. plz solve this sir/madam Answer is4.69 Angstroms

IE OF H-ATOM IS 13.6 ev
SO HYDROGEN ATOM ABSORBS 1.5X13.6=20.4ev
K.E = 20.4-13.6 = 6.8 ev
now
we know that Lamda =h/squreroot of 2mKE
where m= mass of the electron in kg and KE is 6.8 ev = 6.8 X 1.602 X 10-19 joues
now sustitute this values in the above formula we get the answer.
