Depression in the beam is given by δ = WL³/4Ybd³ Where W is weight , L is length , b is breadth, Y is Young's modulus and d is depth also δ is depression in the beam. Here it is clear that , Depression in the beam is inversely proportional to Young's modulus. e.g., δ is proportional to 1/Y
Hence option (A) is correct.
