The wings of jet plane will cut the vertical component of earth’s magnetic field, so emf is induced across the wing. The vertical component of earth’s magnetic field.


V = H tan theta
V = 4 * 10^-4 * 1/ sqrt 3
 
Induced EMF = V *v* l
