Dear Sir, When I solve some problems from AC circuit like CR,LR,RLC circuits, some of them are solved by the application of phasor diagrams.As an IIT aspipirant, do I need to understan the underlying concepts of Phasor algebra? Dear sunindra kanghujam,

Absolutely Yes !

You need to understand the concepts of Phasor Diagrams to get a clear picture of the Phasor Algebra used !!!

Phasor Algebra is actually a part of IIT-Syllabus but rarely does this get into the question paper !!

So be wise & learn the concepts dear....

They require just some simple concepts !!!!
