Will the velocity of smaller block when on vertical part of bigger block be zero since external force is zero in vertical direction on small plus big block system and initially there was no net momentum of small block plus bigger block system in vertical direction therefore (acc. to conservation of momentum)still net momentum will be zero on vertical direction when small block is on vertical part and since bigger block doesn`t have any velocity in vertical direction therefore velocity of smaller block must be zero in vertical part of bigger block
