Though earth produces magnetic field why can’t a coil rotating in air induce current in it?

DEAR earth magnetic field is too weak . it is typically 50 microtesla in magnitude , in comparison , atypical frige magnet are 5 millitesla strong , and the bar magnets are 1 tesla strong . you need such strong magnetic field to produce any significant amount of voltage in the coil rotating in air .
