In a light bulb connected to an AC source the instantaneous current is zero in each cycle of a current. Why does the bulb not glow off during these times of zero current?

Dear student,

It is not possible that the instantaneous current is zero in each cycle at all times. Otherwise it would not have been an AC current at all(since it is not even changing from zero value, let alone a periodic variation). Please check the question.
