 Fluorescene is the emission of light by a substance that has absorbed light or other electromagnetic radiation. It is a form of luminescence. In most cases, the emitted light has a longer wavelength, and therefore lower energy, than the absorbed radiation.

Fluorescence is an optical phenomenon wherein a material emits light in response to some external stimulus. Normally, the fluorescent light that is emitted is of a specific color or group of colors that is released when the material is bombarded with light in some other part of the color spectrum. there are instruments used called fluoroscope
