Electromagnets are considered as temporary magnets because if we will connect the wire the nail will attract the metal and if we will not connect the wire the nail will not attract the metal

electromagnets are consigered as temporary magnet because as we keep on passing electric current it will work as magnet , if we stop passing of electricity , the electromagnet is no longer work as magnet , so it is not permanent it is for some duration , so it is temporary , hope you understand , please aproove , good luck

It is because when we remove electricity, it loses its magnetic power. So such magnets are temporary magnets

They lose magnetic power when electric supply is cut. So they are called. Temporary magnets.Best regards

It`s simple, the time for which you provide it electric energy, it will act as magnet for only that stipulated period of time. When the charge flows around the coil, magnetic flux, i.e. in simpler words magnetic lines of force are produced and when the charge stops flowing the flux will get zero and hence an electromagnet will act as temporary magnet.

Firstly I want to clear that electromagnets are those which are formed by passing electric current through a metal (iron). They works as long as we continue the supply of current becz as we know when charge particle moves is in constant velocity or speed it shows electric as well as magnetic properties.if we cut the supply then the charged particles I.e.,electrons will not more able to show magnetic properties and Hence.Probably,we may say that electromagnets does not loose their magnetic properties completely as it will decrease will the random motion of electrons in a lattice.

Electromagnets work only when the circuit is connected to voltage source. So, when the circuit is disconnected then it is no longer a magnet it turns back to a normal metal.

Electromagnets are produced due to electric field ...when we put non magnetised substance in a electric or magnetic field ...due to polarisation one side of it will behave as north pole and another is south pole and it will converted into magnet .But when we remove the field ..it will be again normal.
