What would happen if 2 ideal cells are connected in parallel?

connecting ideal voltage sources in parallel is basically an illegal operation its would require an infinite current to flow from the higher to the lower source due to the voltage difference and zero ohms resistance between them

In practice a very high current would flow limited by the internal resistance of the batteries. probably fusing wires or batteries or causing a fire if not limited by melting wires/contacts opening.
