What will happen if shunt resistance in ammeter has a large value and if resistance connected in series with voltmeter has low value?

if shunt resistance in ammeter has a very large value then it will not give correct reading , it will give very less reading and it also disturbs the flow of current in the circuit ..
if voltmeter has very low value of resistance then a huge amount of current will pass through it and voltmeter will be burnt ..
its an absurd question.
