Since the arrangement is symmteric about the centralmost point, the current passing from the two $5\Omega$ and $10\Omega$ resistors can be considered to be equal.

From Kirchoff’s voltage law,

1. $V-5i_1-10i_2=0$
2. $10i_2-5i_1-5(i_1-i_2)=0$

Solving the two equations gives $i_1=\dfrac{3}{35}V$ and $i_2=\dfrac{2}{35}V$
Hence $V=7(i_1+i_2)$

But $V=R_{eq}(i_1+i_2)$
$\implies R_{eq}=7\Omega$
