voltage is the same across the each component of the parallell circuit.the sum of currents through each path is equal to the total current that flows from the current.

Hello Gowri

A parallel circuit has more than one resistor (anything that uses electricity to do work) and gets its name from having multiple (parallel) paths to move along.

Hello Gowri,
A parallelcircuit  is a closed circuit in which the current divides into two or more paths before recombining to complete the circuit. Each load connected in a separate path receives the full circuit voltage, and the total circuit current is equal to the sum of the individual branch currents.

Mr.Gowri,
when all the devices in a circuit are connected in parallel conections then it is considered as the parallel combination.

parelle combination...A circuit composed solely of components connected in series is known as a series circuit; likewise, one connected completely in parallel is known as a parallel circuit.
