The resistance of wire of length 5m, area of corss-section is 2 mm 2 and resistance is 10 ohms. The resistance of another wire is 20 ohms with same material of length 20m & area of cross-section is 10 mm 2 . Calculate the ratio of specific resistivity of these two wires.

R = PL/A

Resistance = (specific resistivity x length of wire) / cross sectional area

P1/P2 = (R1A1L2)/(R2A2L1)

put values in SI units and get answer

in this case answer is coming 2/5
