Grade 12th passElectric Current

Step down Transformers increase current but reduce voltage. But as per ohm`s law, when voltage is less, current also show be less. Then how does current increase when terminal voltage at output is lower than input?I know that P=V x I . But how to apply ohm`s law in this scenario? Explain me assuming 1ohm connected at output.

Dear Blesson ,

You have heard that in primary unit of step down transformer there is more no of turns as compared to secondary unit ..
In transformer ohm,s law is valid but not applicable because in the formula (v=i.r) resistance is a constant value but in transformer resistance is changing from primary to secondary units
I Hope this will help you ..

Thanks and Regards
