Here, we know that for diode to be forward biased, p-side should be at higher potential than that of n-side.
Case-1:- Here, the p-side is at zero potential but n-xside is at 5V & thus, n-side is at higher potential. So, it is reverse biased.
Case-2:- Here, p-side is at 10V & n-side is at 5V .P-side is at higher potential & thus, it is forward biased.
Case-3:- Here, p-side is at 10 V& n-side is at zero potential. Again, Forward biased.
Case-4:- Here, p-side is at -5V & n-ide is at -12V. -5>-12. Thus, forward biased.
Case-5:-Here, p-side is at zero potential but n-side is at -10V. So, forward biased.
