  • whenever the magnetic flux linked with an eletric circuit changes,an emf is induced in circuit. The induced emf exists as long as change in magnetic flux continues
  • the induced emf produced in coil is equal to negative rate of change of magnetic flux liked with it

Based on his studies on the phenomenon of electromagnetic induction, Faraday proposed the following two laws.
First law Whenever the amount of magnetic flux linked with a closed circuit changes, an emf is induced in the circuit. The induced emf lasts so long as the change in magnetic flux continues.
Second law The magnitude of emf induced in a closed circuit is directly proportional to the rate of change of magnetic flux linked with the circuit.

Faraday's law of induction deals with one of the important concepts of electricity. It looks at the way changing magnetic fields can cause current to flow in wires. Basically, it is a formula/concept that describes how potential difference (generally considered from indinity) is created and how much is created. It's a huge concept to understand that the changing of a magnetic field can create voltage.
