is the orbital velocity the minimum launching velocity for making the satellite revolve around the earth as definiton says ?If it is so the acc. 2 the eqn. , v0=R(g/R+h)^1/2 , if the destination orbit is higher, the the orbital velocity, ie the minimum launching velocity must be lower??HOW CAN IT BE SO??OR Is it like this ;As the satellite advances into more height, the velocity should decrease,(ie , it should be programmed accprdingly) so as to reach the fixed destination orbit which means that the orbital velocity is a variable???
