if currnt is result of flow of electron then why doesn’ wire get thin at one end and thick at other

current always CIRCULATES in a closed circuit. What you are talking about is accumulation of electrons at one end which does not take place in such cases.Moreover the size of an electron is so small that even in bulk it cannot make large  difference to size of conductor maintained by positively charged ions.
