It is a symmetric circuit so current will not pass through the axis of symmetry. Answer will be (3R/2)In the upper of xy the resistance is (2R+(1/2R+1/2R)^-1)=3RIN L ower portion it is also 3RSo there are now two 3R resistance connected in parallelSo answer will be (1/3R)+(1/3R)^-1=3R/2
