I WANT BASIC CONCEPT REGARDING CURRENT ELECTRICITY CAN U HELP ME

Basic concept,when there is metal wire,say,coper wire,it has free electrons,here the copper metal obeys completly electrostatic laws,but when cunnrent is passed through wire,the electrons set themselves in particular wire and start moving with a velocity namely drift velocity,making that wire conducting,so,drift velocity makes sense of passing electric current.
