Assume a current i in the loop (assume direction CCW ) and apply Kirchhoff’s Loop Rule (or Kirchhoff’s Voltage Law) :
-3i-2-i+6=0 (starting from bottom left corner)
or, i=1 A
Let bottom left corner is point A and bottom right corner is point B. Then,
        V_{A}-3i-2=V_{B}or,    V_{A}-V_{B}=3\times 1+2=5 V So, the answer is C.
