Torque experienced by the dipole moment p due to external magnetic field E making and angle \theta with the dipole is 
                    T = p*E*sin\theta
 
So T1 = p*E*sin\theta
and T2 = p*\sqrt[]{3}*E*sin(90 – \theta)
\implies T2 = p*\sqrt[]{3}*E*cos\theta = – p*E*sin\theta 
\implies tan\theta = \sqrt[]{3}
\implies \theta = 60\degree
