at steady state the current through branch AB will be zero as capacitor blocks it.
so effective resistance will be R in series with R that is 2R which is in parallel with R that is 2R/3 which is in series with R that is 5R/3.
so current = 6/R
potential across capacitor = VAB = (2/R)*R + (6/R)*R = 8V
