How to increase the sensitiveness of a potentiometer...tell any two methods..

The sensitiveness of potentiometer can be increased by the following two methods.
1- by placing the jockey at right position .
2- by using the thick wire to have minimum resistance affected at it..

3- the rheostat should be placed at correct position.

4- the connection should be neat, clean and tight.
