Dear Student,
As we know that,

We realize that Resistance relies upon the length, zone of crosssection temperature and material of the body. Since the condition is perfect the resistance here is 0. So when the resistance is 0. There will be no float speed of electrons through the way consequently the length of the wire wont rely upon the stream of current. So the impact would be momentary. The knob would sparkle promptly.
Cheers!!
