Dear student,

Surface charge density is equal to the charge divided by the whole area of the body over surface of which the charge resides. Now there is no exclusive dependence on radius of curvature because the charge density would also depend upon the total segment of the spherical surface charged. We just need to find the area of the charged surface(whatever the radius of curvature be) and use it to find the charge density.

Hope it helps.
