Components of an electrical circuit or electronic circuit can be
connected in many different ways. The two simplest of these are called series and parallel and occur frequently. Componentsconnected in series are connected along a single path, so the same current flows through all of the components.
if the resister will be connected in series , then the equivalent resistance can be calculated by
R (equi ) = R1+R2+R3........Rn
In a purely
parallel circuit, there are never more than two sets of electrically common points, no matter how many components are connected. There are many paths for electrons to flow, but only one voltage across all components.
in parallel they are not connected to end to end .
If one component is fused, then the other components of circuit will not function.
the equivalent resi. can be calculated as
R (equi) = 1/R1 +1/R2 + 1/R3 …..... 1/Rn
hope it helps
ALL THE BEST /..
