Dear student
The current drawn fron the battery = V/Req
So, The current = 20/6.5 = 3.07A
Voltage drop across 1.5 ohm = 3.07 *1.5 = 4.61 V
Let ptential at point B =0
So Potential at point A = 15.39V
Apply voltage divider
Vp = 15.39 * 3 /5 = 9.234 V
Vq = 15.39 * 2/5 = 6.156V
So, Vp – Vq = 9.234 – 6.156 = 3.07 V
