As in the second loop
On the branch of 3 v the current flows i2 goes to the divided branches. Then on the upper brances current –i1 is flows through it
Because it is opposite to the voltage symbol.
Then on first loop
-6 = -2i1
=> i1 =3A
Through the 4 ohm
The current (-i1+i2) is flowing
3 = 4(-i1+i2)
¾ = -3+i2
I2 =15/4 A
Direction is anticlockwise
