R ) and (R and R ) present beside the middle point are parallel to each other since there is a point between the reditors.
Now, take the vertical two of them and solve as parallel
Therefore,
Rp= 1/R +1/R = R/2................ (eq 1).
Now, except the R present between the points A and B,  resistors R/2, R,R/2 are in series......... (from 1)
Therefore,
Rs  = R/2 + R+ R/2 ..........., (eq2)
Now, the 2R and R (between points A and B ) are in parallel combination ....... (from solution of eq 2 we get)
Therefore,
Rp = 1/2R + 1/R = 3/2R = 2R/3
Therefore, the equivalent resistance  between the two points  A and B is 2/3R
