Apply Kirchoff’s law to the two loops to eliminate the two unknown variablesi_1andi_2.

Hence,4.5=3(i_1+i_2)+6i_2=3i_1+9i_2 \implies 1.5=i_1+3i_2

For the smaller loop,3+10i_1=6i_2

Hencei_1=0,i_2=0.5A
