Dear Rajnish Arya,

The statement of ohm’s law is absolutely correct and the value of “R“ is equal to the proportionality constant.

Dear sardar ji
i am saying I (current) propotional to V (voltage)   from this statment I=R*V  but this  relation  is incorrect

the law is absolutely correct as
I \propto V
I = VR ( to remove the proportional sign R is intoduced ..... where R is resitivity)
